VISION AND MISSION
The primary vision of Kannambra Grama Panchayat is to implement the mandatory and general responsibilities prescribed under the Panchayat Raj Act in a manner that is beneficial and efficient for the public.
Accordingly, the Panchayat aims to ensure prompt and effective intervention in essential service sectors such as drinking water supply, sanitation management, maintenance of rural roads, and upkeep of street lights. Priority will be given to effectively utilizing grants received from various sectors and the Panchayat’s own funds to meet the basic needs of the people.
The Panchayat’s major mission is to ensure that citizen services are delivered to beneficiaries within the prescribed time frame without delay, while maintaining transparent and corruption-free governance. Efforts will also be made to strengthen financial management and undertake prompt measures to increase the Panchayat’s own revenue.
Continuous interventions will be carried out to transform the Panchayat into a women-friendly, elderly-friendly, and child-friendly local self-government institution. Human resources will be utilized effectively to make services more people-oriented and efficient.
